Badam – the almond, or paisley – is the oldest motif in the Kashmiri repertoire. Here it is worked in dense sozni across both palla ends and drawn into a fine running border, leaving the body of the shawl open so the pashmina itself carries the drape. Handspun, handwoven, hand-embroidered.
